STORYTELLER: “Hello friends! Welcome to Quest and welcome to the Wonder! Clubhouse! This month we’re headed to the great outdoors where we’re going to Camp Out and learn that no matter where we go or what we do, God is with us.”

STORYTELLER: “Since we’re in the great outdoors, I want us all to howl like wolves howling at the moon! That’s right friends! Howl with me!”

Howl with the children. You can repeat this one or two more times

STORYTELLER: “Great job, friends! I love camping in the woods and hearing all of the sounds of God’s amazing animals! It reminds me that no matter where I go or what I do, God’s got me, no matter what! When I say, ‘Who’s got it?’ you say, ‘God’s got it!’ Let’s practice! ‘Who’s got it?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God’s got it!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! God is always with us whether we’re camping in the great outdoors or we’re playing with our friends, and that’s something to celebrate! Let’s sing songs today thanking God for always being with us. Let’s stand to our feet and sing, ‘Trustin’ N U!’”

STORYTELLER: “Thanks for worshipping with me, friends. Before you have a seat, tell me, ‘Who’s got it?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God’s got it!”

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! God’s got it! We don’t need to worry, be afraid, or feel alone because our Bible verse for this month tells us God will be with us no matter what. Listen to the Bible verse as I say it, then, we will repeat it together with the hand motions. Listen carefully:
‘God (point both hands straight up) is with you (point out to a friend) wherever (wave your hands in a circle) you go’ (march in place) Joshua 1:9” (open hands like a book)

STORYTELLER: “Hello friends! Welcome to Quest and welcome to the Wonder! Clubhouse! This month we’re…oh my goodness! There’s so much COLOR in the room! It must be because this month we’re learning all about how God keeps His promises to us, just like He did when He sent a colorful rainbow.”

STORYTELLER: “On the count of three, I want you all to help me celebrate our series, Colorific! When I count to three, I want you to SHOUT out your favorite color! Think about it for a second—what’s your favorite color? Have you thought of one? Then yell it out on three! One, two, three!”

Allow kids to yell out their favorite color.

STORYTELLER: “Great job, friends! Today we’re going to learn that God keeps His promises to us and the amazing things He’s done. When I say, ‘Who keeps his promises?’ you say, ‘God keeps His promises!’ Let’s practice! ‘Who keeps his promises?’”

Let’s find out more about Noah and the promise God made to him! Let’s head to the Wonder Clubhouse and find out what happened. Check out the screen!”

STORYTELLER: “Wow! Noah trusted God and God kept His promise to Noah and his family by keeping them and all of the animals on the ark safe. God kept his promise to Noah and God will keep His promises to us!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends. God keeps His promises. God sent a rainbow to Noah to remind him and us God keeps his promises. Whenever we see a rainbow, we should think of Noah and how God was able to keep him safe. The rainbow is a reminder of the promise that God made to keep you safe, too. Now, it’s time for us to pray and thank God for always keeping His promises. Bow your heads and close your eyes.”
