CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God has a plan for me!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! God has a big plan for all of us and this month we’re taking a very close look at a person in the Bible named Joseph who God used to do big things! We’ll see that God had a plan for Joseph, just like He’s got a plan for us, and that’s something we can all celebrate together. Friends, let’s all stand to our feet and sing, ‘Plan for Me!’”

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! God’s got a plan for us and the Bible says that God’s plan’s are forever so it doesn’t matter how old we get, where we go, or what we’ve done. God will always find a way to bring us back into His plan. Let’s take a look at what the Bible says. I’ll say the Bible verse once, then I’ll have you say it AS LOUD AS YOU CAN! Listen carefully:

‘The plans (hold up fingers 1, 2, then 3) of the Lord (point both fingers up) stand firm forever.’ (stand feet wide with hands on hips) Psalm 33:11” (open hands like a book)

STORYTELLER, THEN CHILDREN LOUDLY: “‘The plans (hold up fingers 1, 2, then 3) of the Lord (point both fingers up) stand firm forever.’ (stand feet wide with hands on hips) Psalm 33:11” (open hands like a book)

Repeat the memory verse loudly with the children two more times.

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God has a plan for me!”
