STORYTELLER: “Hello friends! Welcome to Quest and welcome to the Wonder! Clubhouse! This month we’re going to learn it’s so important to hide God’s Word, the Bible, in our hearts. That means if we know what God says in the Bible, then He can show us the way wherever we go!

STORYTELLER: “Now, in just a moment I’m going to ask you to make noises like the bell of a bike! You know, the ‘ring, ring’ noises that bikes make! Hey friends, what sound does the bell of a bike make?

Make bell noises with kids.

STORYTELLER: “Great job! You can ride your bike and ring your bell wherever you want. And when you do, you can take God with you by knowing what the Bible says. No matter where or when we go somewhere, you can always take God’s Word in your heart! When I say, ‘What is with you wherever you go?’ you say, ‘God’s Word is with me wherever I go!’ Let’s practice! ‘What is with you wherever you go?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God’s Word is with me wherever I go!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! God’s Word is with you wherever you go! That means no matter where you go on your bikes and trikes, you can always take God’s Word with you. Right now, we’re going to sing a song thanking God for giving us His Word. Stand to your feet and let’s sing, ‘Oh, the Bible!’”

SONG: “Oh, the Bible”

Lead children in singing, “Oh, the Bible,” with the hand motions.

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends! Now let’s check in with Ollie at Wonder! Clubhouse to learn more.”

Remember, Love Week was when you went into your neighborhoods and cities and helped our friends and neighbors.

STORYTELLER: “Hello friends! Welcome to Quest and welcome to the Wonder! Clubhouse! This month we’re going to learn it’s so important to hide God’s Word, the Bible, in our hearts. That means if we know what God says in the Bible, then He can show us the way wherever we go!”

STORYTELLER: “Hey, I have an idea! Since it’s summer and summer is a time when we can go on adventures with our family, I want you to turn to a friend and tell them the most fun place you’ve been this summer! Maybe you’ve been to grandma’s house, maybe you’ve been to the pool, or maybe you even been to the beach! Find a friend and tell them the most fun place you’ve been to. Do that now.”

Engage the kids by asking, ‘Where is the most fun place you’ve been?’

STORYTELLER: “Great job! In case you’re ever wondering where you need to go, I’ve got good news! God’s Word tells us which way to go! When I say, ‘What is with you wherever you go?’ you say, ‘God’s Word is with me wherever I go!’ Let’s practice! ‘What is with you wherever you go?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God’s Word is with me wherever I go!”

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! God’s Word is with you whoever you go! We can to take the Bible with us wherever we go by learning what God’s Word says. We’re going to do that now by practicing this month’s memory verse together. Watch me say the memory verse and then you’ll say it after me.

Repeat the memory verse two more times and have kids repeat it.

Love Week is a time of the year where our whole church comes together to help the people in our city. During Love Week, we’re going to be working hard to make our city a better, more beautiful place to live and to share Jesus with others.

The first time you serve, you’ll receive your Love Week t-shirt that looks like this:

At every Love Week event you attend, someone at the event will sign the back of your shirt on this fun looking bingo board! The more signatures you receive on the back of your shirt, the better prize you’ll earn when Love Week is over. Make sure you bring back your Love Week shirt NEXT WEEK so you can earn a cool prize for all of your hard work throughout Love Week!”

Lastly, the final prize is both a Love Week beach ball AND a Love Week flying disk that you can throw around with your friends. Pretty cool prizes that I’m sure you’ll get a ton of play time with all summer!

This month we’re learning that the Bible has so many things to teach us and no matter what, the Bible can show us the right way to go. Hey, speaking of knowing the right way to go, I bet there are some special people in your life who know lots of things! You see, this weekend is Father’s Day and I bet the special guys in your lives know lots of stuff! In fact, we want to play a fun game with you and your dads called Mr. Know-It-All!

After Quest today, you’ll head outside and there will be a big wheel you and your dads can spin. After the wheel is spun, a question will be asked and if you get it right, you and your dads earn an awesome Father’s Day prize! How fun and easy is that? Just make sure you take your dad to compete in the Mr. Know-It-All challenge!”
