Mile #2: Salvation

Jesus offers salvation to everyone who chooses to follow Him. Then, He calls us to put our faith to work!

Family Activity: Philippians 2:12 says to “continue to work out your salvation.” Your faith gets stronger when you work it out, just like your muscles! Write your own fitness challenge for the day and work out for a few minutes as a family. After the workout, ask:

  • How did you do?
  • Was the workout hard or easy?
  • What is one way you can work out your faith?

Share:
Post a picture or a video of your workout and what you learned about exercising your faith.  Use the hashtag #sevenmilemiracle and tag @elevationeKidz.

March Parent Cue Cards

Parent Cue was created to help parents do family better. Use the monthly Parent Cue card to begin conversations with your child about what they are learning in church. Each week on the eKidz site find weekly information to continue conversations about Jesus at home.

Mile #1: Forgiveness

On the cross, Jesus spoke words of forgiveness. You can speak words of forgiveness, too.

Family Activity: Proverbs 16:24 says, “Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.” During breakfast, read this Proverbs together at the table and enjoy something sweet to eat. Use the following questions for discussion:

  • How does it taste?
  • How do sweet things make you feel?
  • What are some sweet words you can speak when people hurt your feelings?
