Motion :: Week of December 28

Read Ephesians 3:20 and Proverbs 21:26 together as a family to learn that God is generous to us, and we can be generous to others by giving without holding back.

In Motion this December we’ve been learning about God’s character and how much He loves us. Because God is generous, we can reflect His character and be generous to others, too! To learn more about how you can be generous, tune into this week’s episode of the Loop Show.

Here are a few activities you can use to help your child apply this lesson to his or her life in a fun way. You can choose to do one or both together as a family.

Motion :: Week of December 21 🎄

Merry Christmas eKidz families! We had a special time celebrating that God loves us so much, He sent His Son, Jesus, to earth to save us.

This month we’ve been celebrating the whole Christmas season by talking about who God is. As kids learn who God is, they trust His marvelous plan, love others without exception, and live for Jesus. This week, we tuned into the Loop Show and took a look at John 3:16, to learn that God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to come near us.

Because we sin, or do wrong things, we deserve to be separated from God forever. We don’t deserve to be noticed by the perfect God of the universe. Even though God sees how lost we are in our sin, He sent His own Son to find us. That’s how much He loves us. When God sent Jesus to earth, it meant Jesus had to step out of the peace and comfort of heaven. He had to choose to endure the pain and struggles of life on earth instead. Knowing all of that, He came anyway. He came near because He loves us.

At bedtime this week, read John 3:16 and pray together. Pray your child will see the love and glory of God everywhere. Pray they will experience what it means to be fully loved, and that they will choose to love God back.

Faith Starter Kit
As you talk about the gospel message with your family, your child might have questions about what it means to accept Jesus as his or her Savior. The Faith Starter kit is a resource designed to help you navigate the questions your child has about following Jesus. You can find more information about the Faith Starter Kit HERE.

Motion :: Week of December 14

Let’s celebrate the whole Christmas season by talking about who God is. As kids learn who God is, they trust His marvelous plan, love others without exception, and live for Jesus.

This week, we tuned into the Loop Show and took a look at John 3:16, to learn that God sent His Son, Jesus, to save us because He loves us unconditionally.

God didn’t send Jesus to earth because He thought it would be a cool story, or because He thought it would be a good experience for Jesus. He sent Jesus to earth for one simple reason: Jesus was the only One who could save us. God sent Jesus here to save us because He loves us unconditionally. It would have been hard for God to send His Son to earth, knowing Jesus would have to die to save us. But the fact that He sent Jesus anyway proves how HUGE His love for us is.

At bedtime this week, read John 3:16 and pray together. Pray your child will see the love and glory of God everywhere. Pray they will experience what it means to be fully loved, and that they will choose to love God back.

Motion :: Week of December 7

Let’s celebrate the whole Christmas season by talking about who God is. As kids learn who God is, they trust His marvelous plan, love others without exception, and live for Jesus.

This week, we tuned into the Loop Show and took a look at John 3:16, to learn that God loves us, and we can trust Him no matter what.

God loves US more than anything else He created. In fact, He loves us so much that He came up with a drastic plan to make sure we could spend eternity with Him even though we don’t deserve it.

Because we sin — we do wrong things — we deserve to die. But God sent His own Son to die in our place. That’s how much He loves us. When we truly realize how much He loves us, we can trust Him with every little detail of our lives.

At bedtime this week, read John 3:16 and pray together. Pray your child will understand just how much God loves them. Pray that this Christmas season, they will experience what it means to adore God back!

Motion :: Week of November 30

Let’s celebrate the whole Christmas season by talking about who God is. As kids learn who God is, they trust His marvelous plan, love others without exception, and live for Jesus.

This week, we tuned into the Loop Show and took a look at Matthew 6:1-4, to learn about how we can be generous.

God has given so generously to us, and He wants us to be generous to others. However, the Bible teaches us that the position of our hearts when we give to others is actually more important than what we give. Jesus told the disciples that our generosity should happen in secret. We shouldn’t give publicly because we want to be honored by other people; we should give privately because we want to honor God.

At bedtime this week, read Matthew 6:1-4 and pray together. Pray your child will practice quiet generosity this week. Pray they’ll recognize the ways God blesses their generosity even when no one else sees what they’re doing.
