Quest :: Week of March 16

One of the most important foundations we can lay for our children to build upon is the truth that God made them. He made them in His image, and He also made them wonderfully unique. When children understand these powerful concepts, they see how important they really are to God. Knowing they are made and loved by God will motivate them to respect themselves and others!

In this week’s Bible story, we learned that we are so important to God, He sent Jesus into the world so we can be with Him forever.

Cuddle and pray, “Dear God, thank You for sending Jesus to be our friend and make a way for us to be with You forever. I hope we always remember how important we are to You and how much You love us. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Quest :: Week of March 9

One of the most important foundations we can lay for our children to build upon is the truth that God made them. He made them in His image, and He also made them wonderfully unique. When children understand these powerful concepts, they see how important they really are to God. Knowing they are made and loved by God will motivate them to respect themselves and others!

In this week’s Bible story, we learned we are smart, helpful, and creative like God because He made us in His image.

As you drive, repeat “[Child’s name] is fearfully and wonderfully made.” Then, repeat it, but use different people’s names.  See how many friends, family members, and community helpers you can name before you get where you’re going.

This week, we learned that every person is wonderfully made by God.
