Welcome / Worship Intro
“Welcome to Motion! My name is ________ and I’m here to make sure you all have an awesome time during our series called Overboard. Before we check in on Ollie and the rest of the gang at the lake house, we should start our day by celebrating what God has done in our life, like bringing us to Motion today. Check out this video!”

Worship Song – I Am Yours
Worship Song Intro
“Motion, stay standing as we sing our next song called “Your Love Is.”
Worship Song – Your Love Is
“Motion, thanks for worshipping today! Everybody can have a seat.
(wait for kids to be seated)
During Overboard, we’ve been following Ollie Rollins as he’s been at his crazy aunt and uncle’s lake house for the summer. Now Ollie is a pretty smart kid, but he made a pretty dumb bet with some local bullies over who could wakeboard better, especially since Ollie can’t even wakeboard that well. But now that the butler, Nigel, introduced Ollie to Gage, his wakeboarding nephew, Ollie might have a chance to win. Can Gage help Ollie? Let’s find out in this week’s episode of Overboard!”
Overboard Episode 3
Video Outro / Dismissal to eGroups
“Motion, this isn’t good! It looks like Ollie has hurt himself pretty bad! Who knows if this might impact his chances of winning the wake boarding competition? I hope that whatever does happen that Ollie can still find a way to celebrate how God has been working in his life so far.
Motion, in just a moment we’re going to dismiss you back to your eGroups where you’ll learn how you can celebrate what God has done for you.
When I call your eGroup leaders’ name, you can follow them back to your eGroup.”
(call eGroup leaders’ names and dismiss kids using the Motion eGroup leader sheet)
Wake Or Wipeout Game Setup
“Welcome back from your eGroups, Motion! During Overboard, we’ll be hanging out on the lake and whenever you’re on the lake, I bet you can find someone who’s either tubing, wake boarding, or water skiing. In our first game today we’re going to take a look at people who are doing some water sports and after the video freezes, you’ll have to figure out if the people in the video will ride the wake or wipeout in our game called Wake or Wipeout.
I’m going to give each eGroup leader a whiteboard and marker. You’ll huddle around your eGroup leader and I’ll show you a video which will freeze after a few seconds. You’ll have to decide whether the person will wake or wipeout. Your leader will write your teams answer on the board and hold it up. The team who gets it correct will earn 100 points.
Let’s pass out the whiteboard and markers and we’ll get started!”
Wake Or Wipeout Game
“Great job, Motion! Let’s collect the whiteboard from eGroup leaders.
(collect whiteboards and markers)
Before we go any further, I want to take a moment and welcome our VIPs. You’re a VIP if it’s your first time in eKidz and we’re so glad you’re here. Motion, help me welcome our VIPs!
If you’re a VIP, I’ve got some special instructions for you. Check out the screen!
This is a VIP lanyard.
[VIP Slide – Lanyard]
When you leave Motion, you need to take that lanyard to the Orange Tent.
[VIP Slide – Welcome Area]
Once you get to the Orange Tent, show them your lanyard and they will give you a gift!
[VIP Slide – Gift]
[VIP Slide – All Combined]
VIP Lanyard + Orange Tent = Gift.
If you have any questions, just ask someone in a blue eKidz shirt! We’re all here to make sure you have an awesome time.”
Game Setup – Quick Change – The Boss Butler
“Now Motion, I’m absolutely loving this series we’re in, and I especially love the costumes the outfits that Ollie and Nigel have been wearing. They’re so well dressed even though they’ve got some pretty tough chores to do around the lake house, and in today’s game, we’re going to play a game where we get to try and copy Nigel and Ollie’s style. Check out the screen!”
*Each team will receive one bag of clothing like Nigel and Ollie wear in the series. One kid from each eGroup will be chosen to put on clothing from the bag according to the slide shown on the screen. The kid chosen to wear the clothing – the rest of the eGroup must dress the kid and send them to the front of the stage. The first kid to have on the correct clothing and come to the stage will win the round. A new kid is chosen at the beginning of the next round to wear the clothes. The team that wins the most rounds wins the game*

Memory Verse Review
“Great job everybody! You can all have a seat.
(remove game supplies from the play area, instruct kids to be seated)
Right now we’re going to work together to start memorizing our memory verse for Overboard. Take a look at the screen and say the memory verse with me.
(say the memory verse with the kids)
Ok, now just the girls say it!
(say the memory verse with the girls)
Ok boys, your turn!
(say the memory verse with the boys)
Great job everybody! Make sure you’re practicing your memory verse throughout Overboard to earn reward points towards the Bring It! Challenge!”
Dismissal Activity Setup
“Motion, before your parents come, we’ve got one more fun activity.
Before anybody become a wakeboard champion, they need to improve their balance and start building muscles to help pull off cool tricks. Kids who learn wakeboarding use lots of fun types of boards to help build their balance and during Overboard, we’ll be working with one of those boards to help you build balance and show off some cool moves.
In our final game, we’re going to test your team’s ability to pull off some sweet moves on a spooner board. We’re going to divide the room into 2 teams. Today we’ll be playing kids wearing shorts or dresses versus kids wearing pants. I’ll call one person from each team to come up and complete a trick you’ll see on the screen. If you can complete the move, I’ll award your team a point. The team with the most points at the end wins the game.
Let’s divide into our two groups and get ready to play!”
(kids will divide into two groups and host will call one person from each team to come and compete during the round)
