“Hello Motion and welcome back to Finders VI: The Case of Camp Jupiter! Last week Ava took us inside her secret cabin and shared some important information with The Finders about the recent alien invasion. Will it be enough to turn the tide of this intergalactic mystery? We’ll have to find out together as we watch our heroes finally begin to cooperate.
Speaking of cooperating, it’s our virtue for the series! Everyone take a look at the screen and say it with me now.

Oldman Teaching Video / Connect Questions
“Great job, everybody! I heard some incredible answers coming from your eGroups today. It’s time for us to celebrate God’s love as we stand to our feet and sing songs of thanks and praise. Stand to your feet as we sing ‘I Am Yours.’”

Dismissal To eGroups
“Great job, Motion! Everybody stay standing because it’s time for us to head back to our eGroups. When I call your eGroup leaders’ name, you can follow them back.”
(dismiss kids back to eGroups)
“Welcome back from your eGroups! Before we continue, I wanted to take a moment and welcome some very special guests who came to visit us for the first time. Motion, help me welcome our VIPs!
If it’s your first time here, we consider you a VIP – a very important person! VIPs, turn your attention to the screen because I’ve got some special instructions just for you.
(refer to the screen)
This is a VIP lanyard. If you’re a VIP, you’re wearing this around your neck right now.
[VIP Slide – Lanyard]
When you leave Motion, you need to take that lanyard to the __________ tent called the Welcome Area.
[VIP Slide – Welcome Area]
Once you get to the Welcome Area, show them your lanyard and they will give you a gift!
[VIP Slide – Gift]
[VIP Slide – All Combined]
VIP Lanyard + Welcome Area = Gift.”
Game Setup – Don’t Drop The Drone
“Today’s game is an interesting one, because it’s actually one of The Finders’ favorite games to play when they’re not off chasing aliens and solving mysteries.
Your Game Groups, or a group of 10 kids, will form a circle. We’ll hand each Game Group a ‘Drone’…
(hold up one of the balls used in the game)
…and you’ll need to pass to someone else in your Game Group. Sounds simple, right? Well not quite, because there’s a little catch! When you catch the drone and toss it to someone else, you’ve got to do it while jumping in the air. Can I get a kid to come on stage to help me demonstrate? Maybe we’ve got someone who’s played a game like this at recess?
(Call one kid on stage to help demonstrate how to play. Optionally, the Host may want to call another theater volunteer on stage to help.)
If you’re the player who doesn’t catch the ball OR if you’re the player who makes a bad throw, you’ll have to step outside of the circle and won’t be able to play until we begin a new round.
Ok Motion, divide into your Game Groups and then we’ll hand out the Drones for the our game called ‘Don’t Drop the Drone!’ Do that now!”
(the Host and other theater volunteers / eGroup leaders should be walking around the room to help make sure kids are playing correctly)

Bring It! Challenge Setup / Trading Card Commercial

(collect all game materials and make sure eGroup leaders have supplies to complete the Bring It! Challenge)
Our Bring It! Challenge during The Finders’ series always looks a little different because instead of prizes for completing the challenge, you’ll earn Finders trading cards that you’ll be able to collect, trade, and compete with while we play our Finders Trading Card Game. What’s the Finders’ Trading Card game? Check out the screen!”
(watch the Finders Trading Card Commercial)
Those trading cards look so cool! I can’t wait to have a complete set of my own! You can collect your own Finders trading cards by doing the following things throughout this series. Take a look at the screen.
1. FIND Ecclesiastes 4:9 in your Bible and show it to your eGroup leader
2. RECITE our memory verse for this series, Ecclesiastes 4:9.
3. SAY our virtue for this series.
Ok, so let’s recap. To earn trading cards, you’ll need to FIND this month’s verse, RECITE the verse to your eGroup leader, and SAY the virtue for this month. Circle around your eGroup leaders so you can complete the Bring It! Challenge. Do that now!”
