Welcome / Video Intro

“Hello Motion and happy Easter! I’m so excited you’re with us during this special week.

I’m looking out into the crowd and am so excited to see a lot of new faces joining us today. If it’s your first time in Motion, we consider you a VIP, a very important person. VIPs listen up because I’ve got some special instructions for you. Take a look at the screen!

This is a VIP lanyard. If you’re a VIP, you’re wearing this around your neck right now.

When you leave Motion, you need to take that lanyard to the __________ tent called the Welcome Area.

Once you get to the Welcome Area, show them your lanyard and they will give you a gift!

Worship Intro

“Motion, put your hands together and help me celebrate our VIPs today!

(initiate applause)

We celebrate our VIPs, but also I can’t think of a better time than Easter to sing and celebrate the life of Jesus. Stand to your feet as we celebrate our victory in Jesus. Let’s sing ‘Undefeated!’”

Worship Song – Undefeated

Game Setup – Baby Chick World Cup

“Our series GOOOOOAL! takes us to the soccer field where we’ve been training to push our soccer skills to a new level. Now you’ve all done a great job throughout this series, but did you know that you haven’t been the only ones training? While you’ve been putting in time honing your skills in Motion, another team has taken the field and is ready to prove they’ve got what it takes to spread their wings on the biggest field in sports. Motion, put your hands together for the Baby Chick World Cup!”

(kids will watch the first part of the video)

Game – Baby Chick World Cup

Now Motion, it’s half time right now, but we’ve got to decide which baby chick we’re going to cheer for in the next half. In just a minute I’m going to have you divide into your game groups and I’m going to hand each Game Group a whiteboard and marker. I’m going to ask you a few questions about the video you just watched and if you get the answer right, you’ll earn a point. The amount of points you earn will determine which baby chick you’ll cheer for in the next round. Form into your Game Groups and we’ll hand out supplies as we get started.

(ask kids the questions on the screen)

Ok, now it’s time to count up your points. Check out the screen to see which baby chick you’ll be cheering for.

(refer to the screen, helping Game Groups figure out which baby chick they’ll be cheering for)

It’s time for us to check out the second half and cheer on our baby chicks!”

(finish the video, celebrate the winners)

Congratulations to today’s winners! Now, the Baby Chick World Cup may be over, but on the way out today, you’ll all receive a gift for competing in our competition. I hope all enjoy some Easter chocolate!”

Salvation Video Setup

“Easter is such a special time because it’s a reminder that Jesus will always be there for you when you ask Him to come into your life. Some of you may have questions about what that means, and if you do, then you’ll want to check out this video.”

Dismissal to Next Level eGroups

“Now Motion, some of you probably had questions during that video and that’s completely normal. If you had questions, your eGroup leader will hand you a pass to a Next Level eGroup where we can help answer any questions you may have. eGroup leaders, do that now.

(give eGroup leaders time to hand out Next Level invitations)

If you received a Next Level Invitation, you can follow Mr. / Ms. ____________ to the Next Level eGroup. Do that now.

(give Next Level kids a chance to leave with the leader before continuing)

Memory Verse Game Intro – Tag Memory Verse Challenge

“Now it’s time for us to practice our series memory verse, but we’re going to play a little game while we’re working on it. I’m going to have you divide into your Game Groups again and form a circle. Once you have have your circle formed, everyone have a seat. Do that now!

(help kids get into their Game Groups, then have them sit down on the ground)

I’m going to put our series memory verse on the screen and you’ll have one minute to practice it as a team. Then, one person in the group begins a fist bump chain around the circle. When the music stops playing, the last kid who got fist bumped has to say the memory verse out loud to the rest of the game group.

Now if you forget part of the verse or if this is your first time here, I’ll leave the verse on the screen to help you out, but if you’ve been here for a few weeks, I want you to work hard and try to say the verse from memory.

Now, wait for the music to begin play and then we’ll get started!”
