Welcome / Team Time Intro Game
“Hello campers and welcome to Camp Wannastay! My name is Camp Counselor __________ and I’m here to make sure you have a great time. We’ve already had lots of fun at Camp Wannastay getting know the people in our cabins, but we’ve got lots more fun stuff coming.
Right now we have an opportunity for your cabin to earn points in our first Team Time game. Check out the screen!
*Kids will form circle with their cabin and all kids will hold hands. The Camp Counselor will put a hula hoop between two campers and when the host says ‘Go!’ kids will attempt to send the hula hoop all the way around the circle without breaking hold of each other’s hands. The first cabin to get the hula hoop all the way around to the starting position wins that round. The team that wins the most rounds by the time the game ends wins the game.*

Team Time Game Setup
“Motion, great job worshiping! You can have a seat. And now it’s time to play another game with our cabins. Take a look at the screen.”
*Half of the kids in the cabin will stand on one side of the room, half the kids in the cabin will stand on the other. One side will be given a hula hoop which they must then roll over to their cabin mates on the other side of the room. The hula hoop must make it to the other side in one roll or else it doesn’t count and the kid must re roll the hula hoop. Once a kid rolls the hula hoop and it makes it to the other side, that kid will go to the back of their line and sit down. The team that has their whole cabin sitting down first wins the round. The team that wins the most rounds wins the game.*
Team Time Game – I Hoop I Win!
“Great job everybody! Let’s all congratulate the ________ cabin for winning today’s game.
Camp time is almost over, but every day at camp we give out awards for campers and teams who have been working hard at camp. Our first award is the team award, which rewards the team with the highest total team score. Teams earned points based on how many team members brought their Bible, how many team members said their memory verse, and who won the Team Time games.
Motion, give me a drumroll as I get ready to announce the winner of today’s Cabin Award!
The winner is the ______ team! Motion, put your hands together and let’s congratulate the _______ team.
(Allow this team to come and pick a piece of bug candy from the Camp Canteen.)
I’m also giving an award to the eGroup counselor who showed the most spirit today. If you think your leader should win this award, I want you to scream as loud as you can on the count of three. One, two, three!
(encourage kids to yell loudly)
Ok, Motion, the eGroup Counselor Award goes to ______ of the ______ cabin! Everyone, let’s all give counselor ________ a hand!
(initiate applause and give a Spirit Award water bottle to the Counselor)
And last, but not least, I want to give an award to one kid in particular who showed great leadership throughout the day. At Camp Wannastay, we want to honor kids who act like leaders, just like in the Bible stories we’re learning from. Motion, give a big round of applause to _________!”
(initiate applause and give a Leader Award water bottle to the kid)
“Great job to all our campers! Alright, today we’ve been learning how to be leaders who make a difference. Earlier, we saw an awesome video about Love Week and I told you it would be an opportunity for all of us to make a difference and I want to explain a little more about what I meant. Right now we’re going to get to see a video that all of your parents saw a couple weeks ago that highlights just how big of a difference we in eKidz can make. Check this out.”
Parent Pickup / Camp Bingo
“Motion, wasn’t that awesome?! Make sure you’re back here next week to kick off Love Week 2015!
Now campers, before your parents pick you up from Camp Wannastay, we’re going to play a camp favorite – Bingo! Each of you will receive a Bingo board. I’ll be at the front of the stage calling out letters and numbers. If you have the letters and numbers I call out, slide the shutter closed over the appropriate space. As I call out numbers and letters, we’ll show which ones have been called by putting an “X” over them on the screen.
If you get 5 in a row in any direction, yell out “BINGO!” and a counselor will come around to check out your board. We’ll keep track of which numbers and letters we’ve called on the screen. If you’ve won the round, you’ll get to choose a prize from the Bug Bin! Let’s pass out the boards and we’ll get ready to play Camp Bingo!”
Camp Bingo Game / Prizes
(Each weekend campers can collect cabin keys for attending Camp Wannastay and bringing a Bible. Campers can redeem their cabin keys for prizes during Parent Pickup/Bingo time. Campers can turn their keys in for the following:
SNACK (a power bar AND a Gatorade) = 4 cabin keys
CAMP WANNASTAY T-SHIRT = 8 cabin keys
Collect the cabin keys and put them in the silver bucket, sitting on top of the Camp Canteen. If needed, have theater volunteers and eGroup leaders help with prize distribution.
At the end of the day, return all keys to the Motion eTeam Leader (eGroup) so keys can be reused the following weeks.)
