Main Point: I can stick with it because we win in the end.
Bible Story: Freedom for Peter
Bible Passage: Acts 12:1-19
Memory Verse: Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
“Motion, I’m so glad you’re all here today. Today’s a special day because it’s the final episode of Finders 3: The Mask of Monodios, but also because it’s the last day in Motion for our 5th graders. If you’re a 5th grader, please raise your hand.
(wait for 5th graders to raise hands)
Ok, now we know where all the 5th graders are, lets go and give a 5th grader a high five!
(give kids a few moments to give 5th graders a high five)
“Now Motion, celebrating the graduation of our 5th graders is very important, but we’ve also got another major event today.
Like I mentioned earlier, today is the day we finally unravel the mystery of the mask of Monodios as The Finders close in on the missing artifact. I’ve got my own ideas about who might have stolen the mask, but I want to hear what you all have come up with. Are there two people who want to tell me what they think happened to the mask?
(ask two kids what they think happened to the mask)
Motion, I think it’s time we finally solved the mystery of the mask of Monodios. Put your hands together for the final episode of Finders 3: The Mask of Monodios!”
(initiate applause, walk off stage)

Video Outro / Dismissal to eGroups
“Motion, I can’t believe it! The Finders solved the mystery and won in the end, but it looks like they now have another mystery on their hands! Who’s this Dr. Oldman look-alike who is messing with The Finders?! We’ll have to see in our next Finders series. Let’s head to our eGroups now and learn how, just like The Finders, we win in the end, and that can help us endure.
When I call your eGroup leaders’ name, you can stand up and follow him or her back to your eGroups.”
“Welcome back from your eGroups! I want to take a moment and welcome our VIPs. You’re a VIP if it’s your first time here in eKidz and we’re so glad you’re here. Motion, help me welcome our VIPs!
If you’re a VIP, I’ve got some special instructions for you. Check out the screen!
This is a VIP lanyard.
[VIP Slide – Lanyard]
When you leave Motion, you need to take that lanyard to the black tent.

Once you get to the black tent, show them your lanyard and they will give you a gift!

If you have any questions, just ask someone in a blue eKidz shirt! We’re all here to make sure you have an awesome time.”

“One way we can have an awesome time in Motion is by worshipping God and singing songs. Take a look at the screen!”

Trading Card Time Intro
“Thanks Motion! Go ahead and have a seat.
(wait for kids to be seated)
During Finders 3 you’ve been collecting cards and working to collect combinations of cards that will earn you prizes. Here are the prizes you’ve been working to collect.
(refer to the screen of combinations and prizes)
We’re going to give each kid one more pack of trading cards and then you’ll have two minutes not only to trade with your friends, but also to show your completed sets to your group leaders. For every completed set you have, your eGroup leader will give you a voucher for that prize. We’ll bring the prizes to the stage and you can turn in one voucher for one prize. Your eGroup leader swill start by giving you your pack of cards and let’s get ready for our final day of trading!”

Game Setup – Finder, Guard, Mask
“Ok Motion! Stop trading and head back to your eGroups because it’s time for us to talk about today’s special game!
(give kids a few moments to settle down)
Motion, this game is like Paper, Rock, Scissors, but it’s got one big twist. You see, because it’s our fifth graders last day with us, we’re going to make this day extra special for them. Only 5th graders will be able to play this game, but the rest of you will circle around them and cheer them on. 5th graders, you’ll be playing a best of three match against another 5th grader. The game is called Finder, Guard, Mask.
(Do the motions as you say the words to help kids remember)
Finder beats Guard, Guard beats Mask, Mask beats Finder.
Ultimately we’ll have only two people left for the championship. At this time all of the other kids who have been cheering so hard for the 5th graders will receive confetti poppers and while the final two people play, I want to see confetti flying everywhere!
Ok, 5th graders hop into the middle and I want all kids to form a circle around them. Let’s get into positions and get ready to play!
(play the game until only two kids remain)
Ok, there’s only two players left, so now we’re going to give the rest of you confetti poppers to shoot while the championship plays out.
(hand out confetti poppers)
Ok, let’s begin the championship round!”

Dismissal Activity Setup
“Great job everybody! before you sit down, why don’t you give a 5th grader a high five or a hug and tell them you’ll miss them!
(wait for kids to be seated)
Before your parents come to pick you up, we’ve got one last round of our ‘Horrible Histories’ game to play. Circle up with your eGroups and then I’ll explain how to play!
(give kids a moment to gather around their eGroup leaders)
Now Motion, Finders 3 took place in a museum and while some people may find museums boring and stuffy, museums are awesome places which show us the incredible history of the people who came before us.
In our final game called ‘Horrible Histories’, I’m going to ask your eGroups questions about some of the awesome things that have happened throughout history and your eGroup will write your answer on the whiteboard. You’ll have 15 seconds to guess the answer and hold it in the air.
The team who gets the answer correct will earn 100 points and the team who earns the most points at the end of the game will be our winner. Let’s get ready to play ‘Horrible Histories.’ Take a look at the screen for the first question!”
