STORYTELLER: “Hello friends! Welcome to Quest, and welcome to Wonder! Clubhouse where we’re going to the Sweet Shop to learn the sweetest news of all – that Jesus loves you! This month we’re exploring the different ways that Jesus showed his love to everybody around him, and why we should too! One fun way you can show love to others is by giving them a sweet treat! On the count of three, I want everybody to shout out your favorite candy! Are you ready? One…Two…Three!

Wait for kids to shout out their favorite candy.

STORYTELLER: “All that candy sounds so delicious and so sweet! I love a good piece of candy, but I LOVE that Jesus loves us so much! This month, whenever I say ‘Who does Jesus love?’ You’ll say ‘Jesus loves everyone!’ Let’s try that now! ‘Who does Jesus love?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “Jesus loves everyone!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! Jesus loves everyone and that’s something we want to celebrate! We’re going to sing, dance, and thank God for His love. Let’s stand to our feet as we sing!”

SONG: “Friends Forever”

Lead children in singing, “Friends Forever,” with the hand motions.

SONG: “No Matter What”

Lead children in singing, “No Matter What,” with the hand motions.

STORYTELLER: “Thanks for worshipping with me, friends. Before you have a seat, tell me, ‘Who does Jesus love?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “Jesus loves everyone!”

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! The Bible shows us over and over that Jesus loves everyone, no matter what they looked like, where they came from, or what they did. In fact, our memory verse tells us that same thing! Watch me say our memory verse, and then you’ll repeat it after me:

“’Love each other (hug self) as I (point up with both fingers) have loved you.’ (point out) John 15:12” (open hands like a book)

STORYTELLER AND CHILDREN TOGETHER: “’Love each other (hug self) as I (point up with both fingers) have loved you.’ (point out) John 15:12” (open hands like a book)

Repeat the memory verse with the kids two more times.

STORYTELLER: “Great job, friends! Let’s say it one more time, ‘Who does Jesus love?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “Jesus loves everyone!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends! Now let’s check in with Ollie at Wonder! Clubhouse to learn more.”

STORYTELLER: “That was great! I’m so glad we learned that Jesus still loves us, even when we do something wrong!”

STORYTELLER: “Remind me again, ‘Who does Jesus love?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “Jesus loves everyone!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends. We learned that Jesus loves everybody, even when we do something wrong! Let’s pray and thank God for our Bible story today. Everyone bow your heads and close your eyes.”

STORYTELLER: “Dear God, thank You for your son Jesus and how He loves us, no matter what. Help us show that same love to everyone we meet! We love You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

STORYTELLER: “Great listening today, friends! Now it’s time for you to go back to your eGroups, but I’ll see you again next time. Bye!”
