Main Point: God made people and they are wonderful.
Bible Story: Adam and Eve | Genesis 1:26-27; 2:7; 20-30

STORYTELLER: “Hello, friends! Welcome back to Wonder! Clubhouse. It’s good to see you today as we go on a journey to discover our Wonderful World!”

STORYTELLER: “This month we’re learning about the wonderful things that God has made, so when I ask you this very important question, ‘Who made everything wonderful?’ I want you to say, ‘God made everything wonderful!’ Let’s try it. ‘Who made everything wonderful?’

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God made everything wonderful!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! Now it’s time for us to sing and worship God together. Stand up and sing with me, friends!”

SONG: “Come and See”

Lead children in singing, “Come and See,” with the hand motions.

SONG: “Good Thing Maker”

Lead children in singing, “Good Thing Maker,” with the hand motions.

STORYTELLER: “Thanks for worshipping with me, friends. Before you have a seat, tell me, ‘Who made everything wonderful?’

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God made everything wonderful!”

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! God made everything wonderful! Watch me say our memory verse with the motions first, and then you can do it with me!

‘You have done (point both hands up) great (wave with left hand) and wonderful (wave with right hand) things. (clap hands together)’ 2 Samuel 7:23 (open your hands like a book) Let’s try that together!”

STORYTELLER AND CHILDREN: “‘You have done (point both hands up) great (wave with left hand) and wonderful (wave with right hand) things. (clap hands together)’ 2 Samuel 7:23 (open your hands like a book)”

STORYTELLER: “All the boys stand up and say our memory verse with me! Ready?”

STORYTELLER AND BOYS: “‘You have done (point both hands up) great (wave with left hand) and wonderful (wave with right hand) things. (clap hands together)’ 2 Samuel 7:23 (open your hands like a book) Let’s try that together!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! All the boys can sit down! (pause) Now, all the girls stand up and say our memory verse with me! Ready?”

STORYTELLER AND GIRLS: “‘You have done (point both hands up) great (wave with left hand) and wonderful (wave with right hand) things. (clap hands together)’ 2 Samuel 7:23 (open your hands like a book) Let’s try that together!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! Girls, go ahead and sit down. Our God made everything wonderful. Remind me one more time, ‘Who made everything wonderful?’

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God made everything wonderful!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends! Now let’s check in with Ollie at Wonder! Clubhouse to learn more.”

STORYTELLER: “That was great! I’m so glad we learned how God made all of the people around us, including our family and friends! Why don’t you find a friend to hug and tell them, ‘God made you!’ Do that now!”

Encourage kids to find someone to hug and tell them “God made you!”

Dismissal

STORYTELLER: “Remind me again, ‘Who made everything wonderful?’

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God made everything wonderful!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends. Our God made our family, friends, all of the people in the world! That’s pretty wonderful! Let’s pray and thank God for our Bible story today. Everyone bow your heads and close your eyes.”

STORYTELLER: “Dear God, thank You for creating all of the people in the world. Thank You that You have made everything wonderful in the world. We love You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

STORYTELLER: “Great listening today, friends! I hope you had fun at Wonder! Clubhouse, learning about the amazing things God has created. Right now it’s time for you to go back to your eGroups, but I’ll see you again next time. Bye!”

STORYTELLER: “Where is the _________ (color of Quest Animal eGroup, ie: Teal Tiger) eGroup? You can go ahead and line up with your eGroup Leader at the door and go back to eGroup.”

STORYTELLER: “Where is the _________ (color of Quest Animal eGroup, ie: White Warthog) eGroup? You can go ahead and line up with your eGroup Leader at the door and go back to eGroup.”

Continue until all eGroups are dismissed.
