STORYTELLER: “Hello friends! Welcome to Quest and welcome to the Wonder! Clubhouse! This month we’re learning all about how YOU are a work of art because God made you and He’s got plan for you! I want you to turn to a neighbor, and say ‘God’s got a plan for YOU!’ Do that now!

Wait for kids to respond.

STORYTELLER: “Great job! Now friends, whenever I say, ‘Who has a plan for you?’ You’ll say, ‘God has a plan for me!’ Let’s try that now! ‘Who has a plan for me?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God has a plan for me!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! God has a big plan for all of us and this month we’re taking a very close look at a person in the Bible named Joseph who God used to do big things! We’ll see that God had a plan for Joseph, just like He’s got a plan for us, and that’s something we can all celebrate together. Friends, let’s all stand to our feet and sing, ‘Plan for Me!’”

SONG: “Plan For Me”

Lead children in singing, “Plan For Me,” with the hand motions.

SONG: “Take Care of Me”

Lead children in singing, “Take Care of Me,” with the hand motions.

STORYTELLER: “Thanks for worshipping with me, friends. Before you have a seat, tell me, ‘Who has a plan for me?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God has a plan for me!”

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! God’s got a plan for us and the Bible says that God’s plan’s are forever so it doesn’t matter how old we get, where we go, or what we’ve done. God will always find a way to bring us back into His plan. Let’s take a look at what the Bible says. I’ll say the Bible verse once, then I’ll have you say it AS LOUD AS YOU CAN! Listen carefully:

‘The plans (hold up fingers 1, 2, then 3) of the Lord (point both fingers up) stand firm forever.’ (stand feet wide with hands on hips) Psalm 33:11” (open hands like a book)

STORYTELLER, THEN CHILDREN LOUDLY: “‘The plans (hold up fingers 1, 2, then 3) of the Lord (point both fingers up) stand firm forever.’ (stand feet wide with hands on hips) Psalm 33:11” (open hands like a book)

Repeat the memory verse loudly with the children two more times.

STORYTELLER: “Great job, friends! Let’s say it one more time, ‘Who has a plan for me?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God has a plan for me!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends! Now let’s check in with Ollie at Wonder! Clubhouse to learn more.”

STORYTELLER: “Wow! Because Joseph trusted God, God used Joseph to save his family! God’s plan really is the best plan, and Joseph got to see it happen!”

STORYTELLER: “Remind me again, ‘Who has a plan for me?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God has a plan for me!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends. God’s got big plans for our lives and through the life of Joseph, we can see that God’s plan really is the best plan. Let’s bow our heads, close our eyes, and thank God for having a plan for us.”

STORYTELLER: “Dear God, thank You for having a plan for our lives, just like you had a plan for Joseph’s. We pray that no matter what, you can use to We love you. Amen.”

STORYTELLER: “Now friends, it’s time for us to head back to our eGroups where we’re going to learn more about what it means we we say God has a plan for us.
