CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “I can thank God for everything!”

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! The Bible tells us that we should thank God for everything He’s done. One way we can remember that is by learning our memory verse. Watch me say our memory verse, and then you’ll repeat it after me.

I will give thanks (thumbs to chest) to the Lord (point both fingers up) with my whole heart.’ (hands over heart) Psalm 111:1’” (open hands like a book)

STORYTELLER: “Now let’s say it together, friends!”

STORYTELLER AND CHILDREN: “‘I will give thanks (thumbs to chest) to the Lord (point both fingers up) with my whole heart.’ (hands over heart) Psalm 111:1” (open hands like a book)

STORYTELLER: “Now, let me have the girls say the memory verse with me!”

STORYTELLER AND GIRLS: “‘I will give thanks (thumbs to chest) to the Lord (point both fingers up) with my whole heart. (hands over heart) Psalm 111:1’” (open hands like a book)

STORYTELLER AND BOYS: “‘I will give thanks (thumbs to chest) to the Lord (point both fingers up) with my whole heart. (hands over heart) Psalm 111:1’” (open hands like a book)
