The true stories of Noah, Jonah, and Naaman will help us get to know God a little better and see that He is 100% worthy of our trust. We don’t have to hold back. We can let go and DIVE IN! Because no matter what is happening around us, we can always trust God.

“Hi! I’m so glad to see you today! Today we’ve got another great story to share with you! But first, let’s remember who we can trust. When I say, ‘Who can you trust?,’ you say, (hand to ear) ‘I can trust God!’ Ready? Who can you trust?”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: I can trust God!

STORYTELLER: “Yes, that’s right! Everyone stand up and let’s

sing this song!”

Song: GULP

Lead children in singing “Gulp”.

STORYTELLER: “What incredible singers you are! This is going to be a fantastic month. You can sit down now. (Pause.) Tell me, Who can you trust?

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER:I can trust God!

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! I can trust God! Remember, our memory verse this month tells us that. Watch me say it and do the motions, and then you can do it with me.

‘Trust the Lord (point up) with all (stretch arms wide) your heart. (hands over heart) Proverbs 3:5’ (open hands like a book). Let’s try that together.”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “‘Trust the Lord
(point up) with all (stretch arms wide) your heart. (hands over heart) Proverbs 3:5’ (open hands like a book). (Repeat several times.)

STORYTELLER: “You are doing a great job learning this verse! Have you said the verse to your parents or your friends yet? If not, make sure you tell them your verse after you leave Quest today. It’s so special we are learning God’s Word together!

“You look ready for our next song. I can’t wait to sing it with you! Let’s stand and sing together!”

(Pause) Remind me one more time: Who can you trust?

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “I can trust God!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! Now let’s check in with Ollie at Wonder! Clubhouse to learn more about God.”

STORYTELLER: “God, thank You for the story of Jonah. Thank You for giving him a second chance to trust You and go Your way. Help us to listen and go Your way, too. We want to trust You, God, in everything we do! Amen.”

STORYTELLER: “Excellent listening today! It’s time for you to go back to your eGroups, but I can’t wait to see you next time.”

Dismiss eGroups using the Quest Animal eGroup colors, one at a time, to line up at the door.

STORYTELLER: “Where is the _________ (color of Quest Animal eGroup, ie: White Warthog) eGroup? You can go ahead and line up with your eGroup Leader at the door and go back to eGroup.”

STORYTELLER: “Where is the _________ (color of Quest Animal eGroup, ie: Purple Parrot) eGroup? You can go ahead and line up with your eGroup Leader at the door and go back to eGroup.”

STORYTELLER: “Where is the _________ (color of Quest Animal eGroup, ie: Orange Otter) eGroup? You can go ahead and line up with your eGroup Leader at the door and go back to eGroup.”

Continue until all eGroups are dismissed.
