STORYTELLER: “Hello, friends! Welcome back to Wonder! Clubhouse and welcome to our Creation Celebration! It’s good to see you today as we go on a journey to celebrate the wonderful world that God created!

STORYTELLER: “This month we’ve learned about all the wonderful things that God has made, so when I ask you this very important question, ‘Who made everything wonderful?’ I want you to say, ‘God made everything wonderful!’ Let’s try it. ‘Who made everything wonderful?’

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God made everything wonderful!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! Now it’s time for us to sing and worship God together. Stand up and sing with me, friends!”

SONG: “Come and See”

Lead children in singing, “Come and See,” with the hand motions.

SONG: “Good Thing Maker”

Lead children in singing, “Good Thing Maker,” with the hand motions.

STORYTELLER: “Thanks for worshipping with me, friends. Before you have a seat, tell me, ‘Who made everything wonderful?’

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God made everything wonderful!”

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! Before you have a seat, since today is our Creation Celebration, I want us to play a game where we get to pretend to be some of the amazing things that God has created. When I call out the name of something that God made, I want you to start acting like it! Let’s give it a try!

STORYTELLER: “Let’s all start by acting like a duck! Everybody tuck your arms and start quacking!”

Encourage children to start acting like a duck.

Storyteller: “Now, everybody stand as tall as a mountain! But your hands in the air and stand on your tip toes!”

Encourage children to stand tall like a mountain.

Storyteller: “Now, everyone move your arms like the ocean!”

Encourage children to wave their arms to the left and the right.

Storyteller: “The last thing we’re going to do is act like an elephant! Use your arm just like an elephant’s trunk and make a loud WHOOOOOOO sound!”

Encourage children to use their arm like an elephant’s trunk and make a WHOOOOO sound.

Storyteller: “Now, I’m going to call either a duck, mountain, ocean, or elephant and when I do, you’ve got to act just like that. The more we play, the faster I’ll go, so make sure you’re listening carefully as we play! Here we go!”

Cycle through the different motions and have children quickly act out the moves listed. As children feel more comfortable with the motions, you can speed up the game. Play this game for about two minutes.

STORYTELLER: “Great job, friends! Those are just a few of the wonderful things God has made. Everyone can have a seat as we watch a story about the other wonderful things on God’s Earth.”
