SERIES OVERVIEW

The true stories of Noah, Jonah, and Naaman will help us get to know God a little better and see that He is 100% worthy of our trust. We don’t have to hold back. We can let go and DIVE IN! Because no matter what is happening around us, we can always trust God.

STORYTELLER: “Hello, friends! It’s so good to see you! I’m so excited because this month we are going to DIVE IN! Every story this month is going to have water in it. And, while we hear these true water stories from the Bible, we are going to be learning WE CAN TRUST GOD! I am so excited. So when I ask you this very important question, ‘Who can you trust?’ (hand to ear), you say, ‘I can trust God!’ Ready? Who can you trust?

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: I can trust God!

STORYTELLER: “Great job! You guys are awesome. Everyone stand up and let’s sing our new song!”

Song: GULP

Lead children in singing “Gulp”.

STORYTELLER: “What incredible singers you are! This is going to be a fantastic month. You can sit down now. (Pause.) Tell me, Who can you trust?

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER:I can trust God!

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! I can trust God! In fact, our memory verse tells us just that. Watch me say it and do the motions, and then you can do it with me. ‘Trust the Lord
(point up) with all (stretch arms wide) your heart. (hands over heart) Proverbs 3:5’ (open hands like a book). Let’s try that together.”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “‘Trust the Lord
(point up) with all (stretch arms wide) your heart. (hands over heart) Proverbs 3:5’ (open hands like a book). (Repeat several times.)

STORYTELLER: “Great job! Everyone clap your hands. Good job! You look ready for our next song. I can’t wait to sing it with you! Let’s stand and sing together, friends!”

Lead children in singing “My God is Number One”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “I can trust God!”

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! Now let’s check in with Ollie at Wonder! Clubhouse to learn more about God.”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! We can believe what God says and trust in Him. Let’s pray. Everyone bow your head and close your eyes.”

STORYTELLER: “God, we love You. Thank You for this amazing true story about how Noah chose to trust You. Because he believed You, he and his whole family and all those animals were saved. Help us to trust You, too. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.”

STORYTELLER: “Excellent listening today! It’s time for you to go back to your eGroups, but I can’t wait to see you next time.”

Dismiss eGroups using the Quest Animal eGroup colors, one at a time, to line up at the door.

STORYTELLER: “Where is the _________ (color of Quest Animal eGroup, ie: Blue Beavers) eGroup? You can go ahead and line up with your eGroup Leader at the door and go back to eGroup.”

STORYTELLER: “Where is the _________ (color of Quest Animal eGroup, ie: Green Gorilla) eGroup? You can go ahead and line up with your eGroup Leader at the door and go back to eGroup.”

STORYTELLER: “Where is the _________ (color of Quest Animal eGroup, ie: Purple Parrot) eGroup? You can go ahead and line up with your eGroup Leader at the door and go back to eGroup.”

Continue until all eGroups are dismissed.
