Bible Story: Elijah and the Fire | 1 Kings 18:1-39

STORYTELLER: “Hello, friends! Welcome back to Wonder! Clubhouse. Today we begin our super series about some super kids in the Bible!

STORYTELLER: “When I ask you this very important question, ‘Who is always with you?’ I want you to say, ‘God is always with me!’ Let’s try it. ‘Who is always with you?’

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God is always with me!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! Now it’s time for us to sing and worship God together. Stand up and sing with me, friends!”

SONG: “My God is Number One”

Lead children in singing, “My God Is Number One,” with the hand motions.

SONG: “Wherever I Go”

Lead children in singing, “Wherever I Go,” with the hand motions.

STORYTELLER: “Thanks for worshipping with me, friends. Before you have a seat, tell me, ‘Who is always with you?’

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God is always with me!”

STORYTELLER: “That’s right! God is always with us! Now, watch me say our memory verse with the motions first, and then you can do it with me!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job, friends! God is always with us! Remind me one more time, ‘Who is with you?’

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “God is with me!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends! Now let’s check in with Ollie at Wonder! Clubhouse to learn more.”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends. No matter what, happens we know that God will always be with us, and we can be brave. Let’s pray and thank God for our Bible story today. Everyone bow your heads and close your eyes.”

STORYTELLER: “Dear God, thank You for always being with me. Thank You that we can be brave, just like Elijah in today’s story. We love You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

STORYTELLER: “Great listening today, friends! I hope you had fun at Wonder! Clubhouse! Right now it’s time for you to go back to your eGroups, but I’ll see you again next time. Bye!”
