Video Outro / Dismissal to eGroups

“Motion, I can’t wait to see what happens next week as Ben gets to spend more time with the Pit Crew.

Right now I’m going to send you back to your eGroups where you’re going to learn more about how you can give thanks, no matter what. When i call your eGroup leaders’ name, you can stand up and follow them back to your eGroup.”

(call eGroups leaders’ names and dismiss the kids with their leader)

VIP Welcome

“Welcome back from your eGroups! Like I said earlier, we’re so thankful to have our VIPs with us today. If you’re a VIP, you’ll want to check out the screen because I’ve got some special instructions just for you.

(refer to the screen)

This is a VIP lanyard. If you’re a VIP, you’re wearing this around your neck right now.

[VIP Slide – Lanyard]

When you leave Motion, you need to take that lanyard to the orange tent called the Welcome Area.

Once you get to the Welcome Area, show them your lanyard and they will give you a gift!

Game Setup – Grand Stand

“Now Motion, whenever you go to a Nascar race, you’ll notice that the fans are some of the best fans in the world. Sometimes the races may last two or three hours, but the fans never stop standing and cheering every time something great happens. I’ll call out something exciting that may happen in during a race and then I’ll say ‘Over the Grand Stand!’ When I say that, everybody will have to stand up and you’ll cheer as loud as you can.

But be careful, because I may try to trick you. I could say something like ‘Over to the Band Stamp!’ and if you stand up, you’ll have to walk on over to the pit stop area and sit out until I say it’s OK to come back into the game.

Let’s do one practice round. Everybody sitting down?

(make sure all kids are seated and paying attention)

Oh, what an incredible pass! Over to the Grand Stand!

(ensure that kids are standing and cheering)

Motion, that sounded great. Sound like you’re ready to play Grand Stand!”

Game – Grand Stand

Bring It! Challenge Setup

“Great job during the game, Motion! Everyone have a seat.

(remove game materials from the seating area)

During Pit Stop, you can play Pit Stop Bingo and earn fuel spots through the Bring It! Challenge by bringing your Bible, saying your memory verse, and even just for showing up! How easy is that? I want you to circle around your eGroup leaders and they’ll give you more instructions on Pit Stop Bingo.”

Dismissal Activity Setup

“Your parents will be arriving soon, but before they do, we’re going to play one final game. You see, Nascar is a sport played at extremely high speeds and whenever you have objects moving that fast for very long times, you’re bound to get some wrecks, mistakes, breakdowns, and all the craziness that can happen when you’re going over 200 miles per hour. In our final game, I’m going to show you a clip of a pretty crazy moment from a Nascar race. When the clip ends, I’m going to ask you questions about the clip you watched. You’ll answer the questions with your eGroup leaders, so make sure you’re circled around them. Check out this first clip!”
