Welcome / Worship Intro

“Welcome to Motion! I can’t wait for today to get started because we’ve got so many fun games, awesome worship songs, and we get to hear from our Family Pastor, Mr. Frank. Before we get started, I want to take a moment and welcome some new faces I see today. If it’s your first time in Motion, that means you’re a VIP – a very important person. Motion, help me welcome our VIPs!

(initiate applause)

VIPs, if you have any questions, find someone in a blue eKidz shirt because we’re here to answer any questions you might have. Right now, we’re going to praise God and thank Him for the great things He’s done for us. Check out the screen.”

Worship Song – Undefeated

Unqualified Episode 3 Setup

“Great job everybody! You can all have a seat.

(wait for kids to be seated)

Motion, in our series Unqualified, we’re learning even though Moses was abandoned as a baby and had even killed somebody, God still wanted to use him to lead thousands and thousands of people across a desert. We’ve also learned that even though we may have done bad or wrong things in the past, God can still use unqualified people like us to big things.

We’re going to learn more about the life of Moses today and how God had used Moses again, even though Moses had difficulty speaking to people. Motion, let’s check out this week’s video with Mr. Frank!”

Unqualified Episode 3

Video Outro / Dismissal to eGroups

“It’s great to hear that even though Moses had trouble speaking, God still gave him what he needed to become a great leader. When God calls us to do something, He always gives us the tools we need to make it possible.

In your eGroups today, you’re going to learn more about how God has called you, just like He called Moses. When I say your eGroup leaders’ name, you can stand up and follow them back to your eGroups.”

(call eGroup leaders’ names and dismiss kids)

VIP Welcome

“Welcome back from your eGroups! Like I said earlier, we’re so happy to have our VIPs with us today. If you’re a VIP, you’ll want to check out the screen because I’ve got some special instructions just for you.

(refer to the screen)

This is a VIP lanyard. If you’re a VIP, you’re wearing this around your neck right now.

[VIP Slide – Lanyard]

When you leave Motion, you need to take that lanyard to the orange tent called the Welcome Area.

[VIP Slide – Welcome Area]

Once you get to the Welcome Area, show them your lanyard and they will give you a gift!

[VIP Slide – Gift]

Let’s review.

[VIP Slide – All Combined]

VIP Lanyard + Welcome Area = Gift.”

Game Setup – Stamptionary

“In today’s episode of Unqualified, we saw Scott the artist draw a picture that helped us remember Mister Frank’s teaching. In today’s game, you’re going to be an artist like Scott, but you’ll use a few different supplies than what he had.

The rules of the game are pretty simple. How many of you have played Pictionary before?

(wait for kids to respond)

If you’ve played Pictionary, then you already know how to play today’s game! The big change, though, is that you’ll be using stamps that you would normally put on a letter! One person from each eGroup will come to the stage and draw a picture on the paper using stamps to draw the thing that I tell you without writing words or saying anything to your team. Your team will try to guess what it is and if they get it correct, your team will earn the point for that round. The team that has the most points at the end of the game wins and earns a prize.

I need everybody to circle around their group leaders and we’ll get ready to call our first set of stampers to the stage!

(allow kids time to get with their eGroups)

Ok, let’s get our first kid from each eGroup up to the stage!”

Game – Stamptionary

Bring It! Challenge Setup

“Great job during the game, everybody! You can have a seat while we clean up these game supplies.”

(have kids be seated while theater volunteers clean up the game supplies)

During Unqualified, you’ll have the opportunity to earn prizes as you attend every week, say your memory verse, and bring your Bible. Your eGroup leader wants to tell you more about how to earn prizes during this series, so circle around them now so you can get all the information you need.”

(help kids circle around their eGroup leaders)

Bring It! Challenge

Dismissal Game Setup

“Hey Motion, your parents will be here soon, but before we go, I want to play one more fun game.

I’m going to put some questions on the screen and I want you to talk to your eGroups and determine which person in your eGroup has the best answer to the question. For example, I may ask you which person in your eGroup has traveled the furthest away. You’ll have a few minutes to talk to your eGroup and find some good answers. Circle around your eGroup leader and we’ll get started!”
