“Hello Motion and welcome back to Finders VI: The Case of Camp Jupiter! Last week we watched as The Finders began to uncover the mysteries of Camp Jupiter. Not all is as it seems in this formerly quiet summer camp as we learn it’s recently been visited by a problem that’s truly out of this world. Not only do they have aliens to deal with, The Finders are struggling to learn how to cooperate to have a chance at solving this mystery.

Speaking of cooperation, it’s our virtue for the series! Everyone take a look at the screen and say it with me now.

Cooperation: Working together to do more than you can do alone.

If you’ve missed any weeks of The Finders, then you can get caught up by heading to our eKidz YouTube page! Before the end of the day come see me and I can hook you up with a card that will show you exactly where to go to find The Finders’ adventures.

Now let’s find out what’s going to happen in this week’s episode of Finders VI: The Case of Camp Jupiter. Check out the screen!”

Worship Intro

“Great job, everybody! I heard some incredible answers coming from your eGroups today. It’s time for us to celebrate God’s love as we stand to our feet and sing a song of thanks and praise. Stand to your feet as we sing ‘Undefeated.’”

Worship Song – Undefeated

Dismissal To eGroups

“Great job, Motion! Everybody stay standing because it’s time for us to head back to our eGroups. When I call your eGroup leaders’ name, you can follow them back.”

(dismiss kids back to eGroups)

VIP Welcome

“Welcome back from your eGroups! Before we continue, I wanted to take a moment and welcome some very special guests who came to visit us for the first time. Motion, help me welcome our VIPs!

(initiate applause)

If it’s your first time here, we consider you a VIP – a very important person! VIPs, turn your attention to the screen because I’ve got some special instructions just for you.

(refer to the screen)

This is a VIP lanyard. If you’re a VIP, you’re wearing this around your neck right now.

[VIP Slide – Lanyard]

When you leave Motion, you need to take that lanyard to the __________ tent called the Welcome Area.

[VIP Slide – Welcome Area]

Once you get to the Welcome Area, show them your lanyard and they will give you a gift!

[VIP Slide – Gift]

Let’s review.

[VIP Slide – All Combined]

VIP Lanyard + Welcome Area = Gift.

If you have any questions, just find someone in a blue eKidz shirt and they’ll be more than happy to help with whatever you need!”

Game Setup – Sneaky Spies

“In today’s episode of Finders VI, Caleb and Alex got caught sneaking around Camp Jupiter after trying to uncover Ava’s secrets. Hopefully in today’s game called Sneaky Spies you’ll have a little more success than those two as you sneak from building to building.

Around the room your eGroup leaders and volunteers will be holding signs in the air that represent different buildings at Camp Jupiter. We’ll dim the lights a little bit and then show the names of a few of the buildings on the screen. No walking, no running, just sneaking!

Now I will be using this flashlight…

(hold up flashlight)

…to catch you as you’re moving around the room. If the light shines on you and I catch you moving, you’re out and you’ve got to go to the building known as the Infirmary. The ONLY way to get out of the Infirmary is if another player tags you.

My last rule for today’s game is pretty simple: you must move to a new building each round. You can’t just CAMP inside a building, you know? Get it? CAMP?

(play up the bad joke)

We’ll begin our game in just a moment, but first, we’re going to hand the building sign to our eGroup leaders who will be holding them to show you where you need to sneak to.

(hand out building signs to eGroup leaders)

Ok, everyone choose a building and let’s get ready to play Sneaky Spies!”

Bring It! Challenge Setup / Trading Card Commercial

“Great job during the game, Motion! Now it’s time for us to clean up these game materials and get ready for our Bring It! Challenge.

(collect all game materials and make sure eGroup leaders have supplies to complete the Bring It! Challenge)

Our Bring It! Challenge during The Finders’ series always looks a little different because instead of prizes for completing the challenge, you’ll earn Finders trading cards that you’ll be able to collect, trade, and compete with while we play our Finders Trading Card Game. What’s the Finders’ Trading Card game? Check out the screen!”

(watch the Finders Trading Card Commercial)

Those trading cards look so cool! I can’t wait to have a complete set of my own! You can collect your own Finders trading cards by doing the following things throughout this series. Take a look at the screen.

1. FIND Ecclesiastes 4:9 in your Bible and show it to your eGroup leader

2. RECITE our memory verse for this series, Ecclesiastes 4:9.

3. SAY our virtue for this series.

Ok, so let’s recap. To earn trading cards, you’ll need to FIND this month’s verse, RECITE the verse to your eGroup leader, and SAY the virtue for this month. Circle around your eGroup leaders so you can complete the Bring It! Challenge. Do that now!”
