CONFIDENCE: Living like you believe what God says is true.
Series Memory Verse: “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6
Main Point: When Jesus is with you, you can face anything.
Bible Story: Peter and John before
the Sanhedrin | Acts 4:1-22; supporting Acts
God is stronger than anyone and He can do things that would be impossible for you or me. He has proved this throughout history, but nowhere is this more evident than in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Because of what Jesus has done, we can have confidence. And when you put your faith in Jesus, you can live fully alive.
We finish the month with something Paul wrote in Romans 8:38-39. The church in Rome needed some encouragement … and Paul delivered. He wrote, “Nothing at all can ever separate us from God’s love. That’s because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done.” (NIrV) God’s love gives us the confidence to face anything.
Live like you believe what God says is true. God’s Word is filled with His promises. When we believe them, we can live with confidence that God will be true to those promises and help us through whatever comes our way.
At dinner this week, ask: How can you continue to grow a deeper relationship with Jesus going forward?
