You may think you don’t have what it takes to be courageous … but what if courage looks different than you think? The goal isn’t to remove fear completely, but to face your battles while you’re still afraid—knowing that God will never fail you or leave you.
This week, we tuned into the Loop Show to learn that it takes courage to stand up for what’s right. We took a look at Daniel 3:16-18 to see that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego listened to God and trusted Him, even when they knew things would be difficult. Because they knew God was with them, they had courage and stood up for what they believed in.
Be ready to stand up for what’s right. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego never gave up doing what was right, even when it would have been easier to do what was wrong. If we want to be ready to stand up for what is right the way they did, we need to know what’s right and start thinking through how we could make bold faith choices.
At dinner this week, ask: What habits can you’d develop today to build your courage for tomorrow?
