Unqualified Episode 4 Setup

“Great job everybody! You can all have a seat.

(wait for kids to be seated)

Throughout Unqualified, we’ve been following Moses, a man who thought that God couldn’t use him to do big things because of where he came from or mistakes he made in his past. But we know that we serve a great, mighty, and forgiving God who looks past those things and calls us to trust Him. Today, I want to bring our Family Pastor, Frank Bealer to the screen to tell us one more moment from Moses’ life where God revealed to Moses that he’s never alone. Motion, put your hands together and help me welcome Mr. Frank to the screen! ”

(initiate applause, walk off stage)

I loved hearing that we’re never alone and we can do what God has called us to do because He’s always with us. I’m going to send you back to your eGroups where you’re going to hear more about how you’re not alone. When Ic all your eGroup leaders’ name, you can follow them back to your eGroup.”

(call eGroup leaders’ names and dismiss kids)

Game Setup – Drawing In The Dark

“In today’s episode of Unqualified, we saw Scott the artist draw a picture that helped us remember Mister Frank’s teaching. In today’s game, you’re going to be an artist like Scott, but you’ll use a few different supplies than what he had.

The rules of the game are pretty simple. How many of you have played Pictionary before?

(wait for kids to respond)

The rules of the game are pretty simple. How many of you have played Pictionary before?

(wait for kids to respond)

This will be the standard Pictionary game that we’ve been playing over the last few weeks, but after I tell you what you’re going to draw, you’re going to put on this blindfold and try to draw the image without seeing what you’re putting on the board.

Your team will try to guess what it is and if they get it correct, your team will earn the point for that round. The team that has the most points at the end of the game wins and earns a prize.

I need everybody to circle around their group leaders and we’ll get ready to call our first set of blindfold artists to the stage!

(allow kids time to get with their eGroups)

Ok, let’s get our first kid from each eGroup up to the stage!”

Bring It! Challenge Setup

“Great job during the game, everybody! You can have a seat while we clean up these game supplies.”

(have kids be seated while theater volunteers clean up the game supplies)

Throughout Unqualified you’ve been working to complete your Bring It! Challenge by saying your memory verse, bringing your Bibles, and just for bringing your awesome selves to Motion. Since today is the last week of the series, I’m going to have you circle around your eGroup leaders who will hand ou the last of the letter stickers. If you’ve collected all of the letter stickers, you’ll earn a prize on the way out today. Circle around your eGroup leaders now!”

Easter Reminder

“I wanted to remind everybody that next week is one of the biggest days of the year as we celebrate Easter here in Motion. If you’ve ever been a part of Easter here in eKidz, you know that we always play some of the coolest, most ridiculous games of the year, as well as get to hear about all of the amazing things that God has done for us leading up to his final days on Earth. It’s going to be an amazing weekend next week and I hope that you’ll invite your friends to come with you and celebrate this awesome event together.

Dismissal Game Setup

“Your parents will be here soon, but before we go, I want to play one more fun game.

I’m going to put some questions on the screen and I want you to talk to your eGroups and determine which person in your eGroup has the best answer to the question. For example, I may ask you which person in your eGroup has traveled the furthest away. You’ll have a few minutes to talk to your eGroup and find some good answers. Circle around your eGroup leader and we’ll get started!”
