STORYTELLER: “Hello, friends! Welcome back to Wonder! Clubhouse. It’s good to see you today! Why am I so glad to see you? Because Kids ROCK! (Play air guitar.) I bet you would look pretty awesome playing some air guitar. Let’s all stand up and rock out on some air guitar! (Play air guitar with them.)

STORYTELLER: “Wow, you did great! You can sit down. (Pause.) This month we’re learning about how God made each of us to do good works, so when I ask you this very important question, ‘Who can do what God wants you to do?’ I want you to say, ‘I can do what God wants me to do!’ Let’s try it. ‘Who can do what God wants you to do?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “I can do what God wants me to do!”

STORYTELLER: “Great job! Now it’s time for us to sing and worship God together. Stand up and sing with me, friends!

SONG: “My God is Number One”
Lead children in singing, “My God is Number One,” with the hand motions.
SONG: “My God is So Big.”
Lead children in singing, “My God is So Big,” with the hand motions.
STORYTELLER: “You really rocked out there! Thanks for worshipping with me, friends. You can sit down now. (Pause.) Tell me, ‘Who can do what God wants you to do?’”
CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “I can do what God wants me to do!”
STORYTELLER: “That’s right! Our memory verse says that God made each of us to do good works. Watch me say our memory verse with the motions first, and then you can do it with me!

‘God made, (point both hands up)

us to do (point to yourself)

good works. (thumbs up)

Ephesians 2:10 (Open your hands like a book.) Let’s try that together.”

STORYTELLER: “All of the boys stand up and say our memory verse with me! Are you ready?” (Pause.)
STORYTELLER AND BOYS: “‘God made, (point both hands up) us to do (point to yourself) good works. (thumbs up) Ephesians 2:10’ (Open your hands like a book.) Let’s try that together.”
STORYTELLER: “Great job! All the boys can sit down. (Pause.) Now, all the girls stand up and say our memory verse with me! Are you ready?” (Pause.)
STORYTELLER AND GIRLS: “‘God made, (point both hands up) us to do (point to yourself) good works. (thumbs up) Ephesians 2:10’ (Open your hands like a book.) Let’s try that together.”
STORYTELLER: “Great job! All the girls can sit down. (Pause.) Our God made us to do good works. Remind me one more time: ‘Who can do what God wants you to do?’”
CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “I can do what God wants me to do!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends! Now let’s check in with Ollie at Wonder! Clubhouse to learn more.”

STORYTELLER: “That was great! I’m so glad we learned about the time Jesus was a kid; and he was able to teach others about God. Even though he was only a kid, He was able to do what God wanted him to do, because kids rock!”

STORYTELLER: Remind me again, ‘Who can do what God wants you to do?’”

CHILDREN AND STORYTELLER: “I can do what God wants me to do!”

STORYTELLER: “Yes! That’s the truth, friends. Jesus was able to do what God wanted him to do, and so can you. Let’s pray and thank God for our Bible story today. Everyone bow your heads and close your eyes.”

STORYTELLER: “Dear God, thank You for Jesus and how he was able to teach others about You. Thank you that you have made us all to do good works and, I can do what you want me to do! We love You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

STORYTELLER: “Great listening today, friends! I hope you had Fun at Wonder! Clubhouse, learning about Jesus. Right now it’s time for you to go back to your eGroups, but I’ll see you again next time. Bye!”

STORYTELLER: “Where is the _________ (color of Quest Animal eGroup, ie: White Warthog) eGroup? You can go ahead and line up with your eGroup Leader at the door and go back to eGroup.”

Continue until all eGroups are dismissed.
