Bible Story: Zacchaeus | Luke 19:1-8
Main Point: Jesus loves me no matter what.
Memory Verse: “Nothing can separate us from God’s love.” Romans 8:39 (NIrV)
In August we’re blasting off with exciting stories and fantastic adventures as we discover how God made us, God loves us, and Jesus wants to be our friend forever!
In this week’s lesson, Zacchaeus had made some bad choices and did not treat people nicely. When Jesus saw Zacchaeus, He could have been mad at him for doing wrong things, but instead He chose to show Zacchaeus love! Jesus loved Zacchaeus even though he made bad choices! And just like Jesus loved Zacchaues, God will always love us, when we make good choices and even when we make bad choices!
Whether we make good or bad choices, God loves us no matter what! When we make a good choice, God loves us. When we make a bad choice, God still loves us. God loves us no matter what, even when we make wrong choices. Then His love helps us make things right!
Join us in helping your child learning Romans 8:39 (NIrV)! Children can recite the verse every week during in August to earn a special Memory Verse take home to put on their poster.

can separate us (link fingers together)
from God’s love. (cross hands over chest)
Romans 8:39, NIrV (open hands like a book)
Knowing this verse helps children remember nothing can separate us from God’s love! Practice this verse with your child so they can recite it to their eGroup Leader this weekend in Quest!
Each weekend children visit Wonder! Clubhouse they get collectible cards to add to their poster. Once your child collects six cards and brings their poster back to Quest they can receive a special prize! Make sure your child keeps their poster in a place they can see it every day to help them remember what we are learning in Quest and to spend time with Jesus.
