Bible Story: Woman at the Well | John 4:1-30
Main Point: Jesus loves everyone even though we are different!
Memory Verse: “Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12
February is the month of love. This month we’ll learn about Jesus’ love for us and everyone! His love is huge and will never fail; it is always there. And Jesus wants us to love everyone, too. He taught us how we should treat others by the way He loved everyone. Not only that, Jesus wants us to tell others He loves them. He wants us to go and tell about His GREAT love for everyone!
This weekend at Wonder! Clubhouse we learned, “Jesus loves everyone even though we are different!”
Jesus was kind to the woman at the well even though she was different. Jesus and the woman were from different places, wore different clothes, and even had different friends. Because they were so different, the woman was surprised when Jesus asked her for a drink of water. But Jesus is special and loves everyone, no matter how different we are. Just like Jesus loves everyone, we can love everyone, too!
Buckets of Love
Each weekend children visit Quest during the month of February they can collect main point hearts to add to their Buckets of Love poster. These hearts will help remind them Jesus loves everyone! Children can collect six hearts and bring their poster back to Quest to receive a special prize.

Knowing this verse helps children remember how we should treat others because of the way Jesus loved everyone! Help your child practice this verse at home. Then ask them to Remember, Think, and Follow to review what we learned this weekend.
1 REMEMBER: Who had been walking all day and was tired and thirsty? (Jesus)
2 THINK: How did Jesus show love to the woman? (He talked to her and asked her for a drink.)
3 FOLLOW: How can we follow Jesus’ example? (We can love everyone!)
