Quest :: Week of April 14

Monthly Focus: Who can tell others about Jesus? (I can tell others about Jesus.)
Bible Story: Saul to Paul  ●  Acts 9:1-20; 13:9
Main Point: I can live for Jesus.
Memory Verse: “Go and make disciples of all nations.’ Matthew 28:19, NIV

We have some BIG NEWS for you! Are you ready for it? JESUS. IS. ALIVE! Jesus is God’s Son,  He is alive, and He wants to be our friend forever. It truly is BIG NEWS!

In this week’s lesson, we learned that Saul, who hurts Jesus followers, becomes Paul, a Jesus follower, after he encounters Jesus on a road.

After Paul met Jesus, his whole life changed. He went from trying to put people who loved Jesus in jail, to being a man who loved Jesus and lived for Jesus. Just like Paul, we can tell others about Jesus, too!

April Memory Verse
This month our Bible verse tells us to share with everyone the big news that Jesus is alive!

Children can recite the verse every week in April to earn a special memory verse card. When your child receives a memory verse card, celebrate with them on learning their verse and put the card on their Quest poster.

Go (run in place)
and make (pound fist into palm)
disciples (point out)
of all nations.”  (extend arms overhead in a circle)
Matthew 28:19 (open hands like a book)

Practice this verse together and encourage your child to recite it to their eGroup Leader this week in Quest.
