Quest :: Week of August 26

Monthly Focus: Who made everything wonderful? (God made everything wonderful.)
Bible Story: Adam and Eve | Genesis 1:26-27; 2:7, 20-30
Main Point: God made people, and they are wonderful.
Memory Verse: You have done great and wonderful things.” 2 Samuel 7:23 (NIrV)

God made the world and everything in it. And when we see what God has made, it reminds us what a BIG and creative God He is. But, God’s favorite creation isn’t a volcano, a supernova, or an otter—it’s people. The God who made all things good, is the God who made you.

This week we celebrate you and you and you and learn that God made people.

Quest :: Wonderful World :: Week 4 (Week of August 26) from Elevation Church eKidz on Vimeo.

God made people, and they are wonderful. People truly are God’s most wonderful creation. They were made to be in relationship with Him and given special qualities no other creation was given. We can love and care for one another and share God’s love with others. We are wonderful because God made us that way.

August Memory Verse
This month our Bible verse says God did great and wonderful things. Creating the world and everything in it – including YOU – was pretty great and wonderful!

Children can recite the verse every week in August to earn a special memory verse card. When your child receives a memory verse card celebrate with them on learning their verse and put the card on their Quest poster.

You have done (point up)
great (wave with left hand)
and wonderful (wave with right hand)
things. (clap hands together)
2 Samuel 7:23, NIrV (open hands like a book)

Practice this verse together and encourage your child to recite it to their eGroup Leader this week in Quest.
