Monthly Focus: Who’s got it? (God’s got it.)
Bible Story: Moses in the Basket | Exodus 1:21-2:10; 12:31-42
Main Point: God’s plan is perfect.
Memory Verse: “God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9, NLT
All of us, children and grown-ups alike, will sometimes come up against things we just can’t do. Maybe we don’t have what it takes to makes things better. It could also be that we don’t have the answers, energy, wisdom, patience, solution, or way out of a situation.
But, we do know the One who does. And, when you know the One who does, there’s no need to worry. God’s got it. That’s what we’re talking about this month. We don’t need to worry, be afraid, or feel alone. God’s got it!
In this week’s lesson, we learned that God’s plan is perfect, through the story of baby Moses.
God’s plan is perfect. God had a plan for Moses, and God has a plan for us, too.
Cuddle up with your child and pray, “Dear God, thank You for [child’s name]. I’m so glad it was Your plan for me to be [his/her] parent. I pray we’ll trust Your plan is perfect and do what You say. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
