On November 1st, Elevation Church launched “30 Days of Thanks.” Throughout the month of November we have 72 opportunities to serve the hungry in Charlotte through our strategic outreach partners. We wanted to make sure that as families you knew where you can serve together with your kids. The outreach team has taken care of all the details, all you need to do is pick an event, sign up and show up. And you can do that all online using the link below.
Here are the top three service opportunities for families:
Charlotte Family Housing
You will have the opportunity to serve lunch or dinner to 6 families that have entered transitional housing. There are multiple days and times for you to serve. If you’d like to serve with Charlotte Family Housing log on to the site below and look for “CFH Lunch”, “CFH Dinner” or, “CFH Dinner & Games” and pick the date and time that works best for you and your family.
Matthews Help Center
Food Collection – Purchase items from a selected list that will provide families referred by our Outreach Partner, Matthews Help Center a complete Thanksgiving Dinner. Deliver items to the Matthews Campus on Monday, November 21st, or, participate in Turkey Tuesday where you can serve by checking in families as they receive their Thanksgiving meal bags. Matthews Campus, Tuesday, November 22nd.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat Lunch – Elevation Church volunteers will be building a Habitat house that will be presented to a family in December. Families are invited to serve lunch to the volunteer builders each Saturday in November.
