Throughout our series “Eliminator,” we’ve been learning how to make wise choices in different areas of our lives. This week, we learned that if we want to be wise, we need to think before we act. Every choice has a series of consequences and we need to consider those before choosing. In our Bible story, young King Josiah considered the consequences of letting his people continue to worship false gods and instead, chose to bring his country back to God. In our lives, we need to do the same. We need to think about the consequences of the choices we make. A choice isn’t a singular point in time, it’s a path that we’re heading down. And if we keep that in mind, we’ll make wiser choices.

Prayer Time: Use this as a guide for prayer time this week: “Dear God, please help us consider the consequences of our choices so that we can make wise choices. Thank you for promising to give us wisdom. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

This week wraps up “Eliminator” but we are so excited about our brand new series beginning next week called “Hey Me!” You don’t want to miss it!
