Watch Despicable Me this week with your family and use The Family Forecast to reinforce at home what your child is learning in Motion. While watching the movie, see if you can spot these movie goofs:
- At the “top secret research facility” in East Asia, the elephant that the shrink ray is being tested on is an African elephant, not an Asian elephant.
- After the projection room is destroyed, you see the shadow of a minion. He starts making shadow puppets, including one of Gru. You see the shadow of the actual Gru enter the screen and stare at the minion.
- During the roller coaster scene, the cart which Gru rides in has a safety bar before he gets on, but’s missing when he gets off.
- When Agnes first asks Gru to read a bedtime story, the picture on the book she is holding switches from the back cover to the front.
- When Gru was asking for money in the bank, Mr. Perkins’ apple switches from left to right (when he squeezes it at Gru).
