Main Point: “Reel” friends serve each other
In the final week of our Hollywood Highlight Reel series, we watched clips from Monsters University and learned that “reel” friends serve each other. We saw Mike Wazowski try to win the Scare Games by himself rather than put his friends and team first. More importantly, we learned from Paul’s description of Jesus’ example of humility in Philippians 2.
Each Motion kid was challenged to commit to serving someone this week. They wrote a person’s name and a way they could serve them on a card. Follow up with your child, see who they chose for their serving challenge, and encourage them to follow-through on it.
