Mine*Craft: Story Mode is all about learning how to craft the story of our life. This week, we learned about how to be a part of others’ stories by sharing Jesus’ story with them.

Lesson Overview: So far during Mine*Craft: Story Mode, we’ve learned about the fundamental elements of our life as believers – the Bible, salvation, and baptism. This week we had the opportunity to learn how to share Jesus with others.
We looked at the example two apostles set in Acts 3:1-10. Peter and John were on their way to the temple when they encountered a man asking for money. They didn’t have money to share with him, but they offered something much more valuable – faith in Jesus. This passage starts off with such an important phrase: “One day…” In this particular situation, Peter and John weren’t on a missionary journey or an evangelism tour, they were just living their normal lives on a day like any other. However, they saw an opportunity that was presented and took the time to share their faith with this man.
In this story, Peter and John were on their way to church. Motion kids learned that one of the best ways they can share Jesus with their friends is invite them to come to church with them. We watched a video from Pastor Steven where he promised Motion that they will always have a fun, welcoming, exciting, and Jesus-centered church to invite their friends to.
If we’re going to build our lives the way God wants us to, we need to seize the opportunities around us and invite others to meet Jesus at church.
