As a family, discuss a few questions together after your child watches this week’s eKidz Online episode.

Question #1: What’s one thing you’re often tempted to center your life around instead of Jesus? (e.g. popularity, sports, being the best, having cool stuff, etc.)

Question #2: Read Luke 9:23-24 NLT. Why do you think Jesus wants people to give up their own ways and follow Him and His ways?

Question #3: What do you think this world would be like if everyone chose to put Jesus at the center of their lives?

When you center your life on who Jesus is and what He taught — when you truly follow Him — you don’t need to look to other people or things for love, acceptance, or approval.

Jesus is calling us to give up our own way and go deeper in a relationship with Him every single day. This week, pray every day. Start each day with a prayer asking God to help you let go of any distractions that get in the way of following Jesus.
