Godly character gets us ready for anything. ●  Philippians 4:12-13, NIV
As a family, discuss a few questions together after your child watches this week’s eKidz Online episode.

Question #1: What characteristics do you think reflect God’s character? What are people like who display those characteristics?

Question #2: Read Philippians 4:12-13, NIV. What kinds of godly character is highlighted in these Bible verses? (Hint: It’s not complaining!)

Question #3: Be honest. What situations make it hard for you to show good character? How can you invite God to shine through your thoughts and actions whenever you’re in that situation again?

Character describes the qualities that shape what you say and do in every situation. As a follower of Jesus, we know character is shaped and guided by the Holy Spirit. The strength to do the right thing comes from Christ — not our own talent.

This week, practice strong character. Strong character causes us to cooperate with others, show kindness and wisdom, be grateful and seek justice, serve others with humility, and demonstrate self-control.
