Grace is getting something good we don’t deserve. ●  Ephesians 2:8-9, NLT
As a family, discuss a few questions together after your child watches this week’s eKidz Online episode.

Question #1: We heard about “cheap grace” in today’s video. It’s when you sin and just say, “Meh, I can always just ask for forgiveness later.” What’s wrong with cheap grace?

Question #2: Read Ephesians 2:8-9, NLT. Why doesn’t God want us to take credit for earning or even choosing grace? What would be different if grace were only given to people who could earn it somehow?

Question #3: Sometimes, people feel guilty even after they ask God and others for forgiveness. Do those guilty feelings come from God? How does God treat us when we ask for His forgiveness?

It’s impossible to always do everything right. No matter how hard we try, we will mess up. But how do we clean up that mess?

Instead of punishing us when we fail, God gives us grace! We can’t do anything to earn it, and God will never take it away. This week, use the secret power of grace to show grace to others! We all need God’s grace, and because God gives us grace, we can show that grace to those around us.
