As a family, discuss a few questions together after your child watches this week’s eKidz Online episode.

Question #1: We’ve all felt like we’ve disappointed someone or let someone down. But our relationship with God is not tied to our performance — what we do or don’t do. God loves us exactly as we are, both the good things and bad things! We can never disappoint Him. How does that make you feel?

Question #2: Read Ephesians 5:8-9, NLT. What do you think it means to “live as people of light”? How can we see others the way God sees them and walk in love as God’s people of light?

Question #3: Today, we learned that we are made in God’s image. What does that mean about the way you treat yourself? What does that mean about the way you think about and treat people you might not get along with very well?

We all know what it’s like to disappoint or let down the people in our lives, so we might think God would act the same way. But what we do doesn’t change who God is. God IS love, and our actions don’t change that.

This week, find ways to reflect Jesus through your life by showing love and kindness to others. See others the way God sees them.
