Motion and eKidz Online :: Would your friends say you live like Jesus?

Would your friends say you live like Jesus? Why or why not?    1 Peter 3:15 NIRV
As a family, discuss a few questions together after your child watches this week’s episode.

Question #1: Which do you think is more important: the words you say or the tone you use?

Question #2: Read 1 Peter 3:15 from the NIRV translation. Why do you think the Bible says it’s important to be gentle and respectful when you’re talking to someone about why you trust and follow Jesus?

Question #3: Who is someone you know who usually can say something using the right words and the right tone? How does that person make you feel?

This month during eKidz Online, we’re learning about the life-changing good news of Jesus and how we can share this good news with others. If your child is asking what it means to live for God and receive this good news, CLICK HERE for resources to help you have a conversation with them.

We have the greatest news in the world in the story of Jesus. But how do we share it? There are many “wrong” ways to share this good news, but the best way to share it is with respect. Being respectful helps you to build a good reputation and makes it easier to share about Jesus.

How you say something is just as important as what you say. When you have a good reputation, people will listen to your words.
