Your family needs you to lead with love. ● Colossians 3:13-14, NLT
As a family, discuss a few questions together after your child watches this week’s eKidz Online episode.
Question #1: What are some ways you might add to “drama” in your family? (Ideas: picking on a sibling, complaining about chores, arguing, etc.)
Question #2: Read Colossians 3:13-14, NLT. What do you think having a more peaceful family life has to do with this verse?
Question #3: What if there’s arguing, fussing, or complaining in your house, but you didn’t start it? Is it your job to stop it? (Ideas: Probably not, but you can for sure keep from adding to it. And you’ll be setting a good example of staying calm and not joining in with bickering.)
You can play a positive role as an agent of change within your family by setting the standard through understanding, compromising, and serving.
When you are experiencing family drama, you can lead with love and listen. This week, lead with love. Love is one thing we can choose to show people when life gets hard.
