Motion :: Week of September 14

Kids are bombarded with so many deceitful messages about who they are and who they should be. They can only know the truth about who they were created to be by listening to God’s voice and by choosing to believe what He says about their identity in Him. God loves and values each of them, and He wants them to reflect His character to others, too!

This week, we tuned into the Loop Show to learn what it means to be a child of God. We took a look at Romans 8:17 to learn about the inheritance God promises to everyone who chooses to trust and follow Him.

When Jesus died, He left us something worth more than anything a person could leave us. He made a way for us to be with God forever. The Bible doesn’t promise life will be easy when we join God’s family and follow Him, but we can be sure it will be worth it when we receive our inheritance.

At bedtime this week, read Ephesians 5:8 and pray together. Pray your child would accept their role as a child of God. Pray that they keep the goal of Heaven in mind as the world fights against them.
