Motion :: Week of September 21

Kids are bombarded with so many deceitful messages about who they are and who they should be. They can only know the truth about who they were created to be by listening to God’s voice and by choosing to believe what He says about their identity in Him. God loves and values each of them, and He wants them to reflect His character to others, too!

This week, we tuned into the Loop Show to learn that we are valuable to God. We took a look at 1 Corinthians 4:3-4 to learn that God created us exactly the way we are and His opinion of us is the only one that matters.

It’s easy for us to look at our appearance, our talents, or our personalities and compare them to other people around us. Those comparisons can make us question how valuable we are. God created us exactly the way we are. The God who created us is the only One who can judge us. He values us, so we can be confident that we are truly valuable.

At bedtime this week, read 1 Corinthians 4:3-4 and pray together. Pray your child would throw away the world’s lies and focus on God’s identity for them – they are valuable! Pray they’d realize the Lord’spower and promise through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice to prove they are important.
