LESSON OVERVIEW
Holly Holiday and Timmy Tinsel love working at Candy Cane Lane, the sweetest Christmas shop on the block. But when ornaments go missing from Candy Cane Lane, it’s a mystery! This December in Quest, we will search the shop with Holly and Timmy to find the missing ornaments and learn about loving others along the way.

CANDY CANE LANE ORNAMENTS
One of Holly Holiday’s favorite things about Christmas is decorating her Christmas tree with ornaments! This month, help your child trim your tree with their own Candy Cane Lane ornaments. Each week children will receive a Christmas ornament in Quest. Help your child hang the ornament on your Christmas tree in a place where he or she can see it everyday as a reminder to what we are learning in Quest. Use the ornaments to start conversation with your child about what they are learning in Quest.

If your child missed Quest this weekend, you can print the ornament at home.

DECEMBER MEMORY VERSE
God’s word helps us know how to live. Teaching children scripture helps them build a strong spiritual foundation. Help your child learn this month’s verse, John 3:16a.

Any Quest child who recites the verse during one of the Christmas worship experiences, December 21-24, will receive a special Quest ornament.

For God (point up)
so loved the world (cross arms over chest)
that he gave (extend hands forward)
his one and only son. (hold up one finger)
John 3:16a (NIV)
