Out In The Wild

Bible Story: Ants, Lions, and Honey | Proverbs 6:6-8, 26:16, 28:1
Main Point: The Bible Helps Me!
Memory Verse: “Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions.” Psalm 119:18 (NLT)

This weekend on our adventures out in the wild, our safari guide Rafiki helped us discover another animal – the lion! The lion had some great stories to share from his favorite book, the Bible. These stories were from the book of Proverbs. The first Bible story (Proverbs 6:6-8) taught us that we should be working hard even when no one is telling us what to do. The second Bible story (Proverbs 28:1) taught us that those of us who do what is right are as bold as lions. The third Bible story taught us to control what we eat, or else we will become sick. (Proverbs 26:16)

Today during our safari, we learned “The Bible Helps Me!” The Bible is full of wonderful things God wants us to see. The Bible helps us live our lives for Him!

Out in the Wild Safari Map

During our time in the safari, we will use a magnifying glass to search for animals by following their footprints! Each week, children in Quest will help Rafiki track a different animal and collect a magnifying glass to glue on their safari map. If your child collects all 5 MAGNIFYING GLASSES and brings their completed poster back to Quest on November 30/December 1, they will receive their very own magnifying glass!

If your child missed Quest this weekend, make sure to ask the room leader at your location for an Out In The Wild safari map and CLICK HERE to download the monkey tracks magnifying glass.

November Memory Verse
This month our memory verse is Psalm 119:18. Work with your child to learn our November memory verse. Any Quest child who recites the verse on November 30/December 1 will earn a special prize!
