Power Up Arcade | The Diamond Zone

Bible Story: Peter denying Jesus | Luke 22:54-62
Main Point: I Will Tell The Truth!
Memory Verse: “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.” – John 14:21a (NIV)

This past weekend in Quest we visited Power Up Arcade for the very last time! We played the last level of Jungle Run and helped the lion collect his lost coins. Check it out!

After playing through Jungle Run, we headed to Video Game Land to meet up with our friends Button and Switch. They were playing through the Diamond Zone, the last level of Power Up. During their adventure in the Diamond Zone, Button and Switch found a shiny treasure chest. They wanted to open it to see if the Power Up Piece was inside, but when a woman started walking their way, they hid the treasure chest and told the woman they didn’t have anything in their hands. They did not tell the truth, because they didn’t want the treasure chest to be stolen!

Button and Switch felt bad for not telling her the truth, so they paused the game and pulled out their Bible to find out if lying was the right thing to do. In our Bible story, we learned about Peter denying Jesus three times. Peter cried because he knew it was the wrong thing to do. Once Button and Switch realized they should tell the truth, they told the woman they had the treasure chest. She was so happy Button and Switch decided to tell the truth and gave them the key to open the treasure chest so they could collected the eighth and final Power Up Piece!

Power Up Wheel

Throughout our time in Power Up Arcade, we will be collecting eight power up pieces to put on our very own power up wheel! This past weekend, all Quest children received a grey power up piece. If your child missed Quest this weekend, click HERE to download this weekend’s Power Up piece.
