Lesson Overview

We joined Speedy Sam at Robo Depot as he made another speedy delivery of robot parts to Dr. Tomorrow, Robo Depot’s best customer. Dr. Tomorrow and his friends Newton and Pixie needed robot ears to add to the robot they are building to tell others about Jesus!

This weekend at Dr. Tomorrow’s Robot Repair Shop, Dr. Tomorrow’s video screen, named TiMo, wasn’t working properly. Dr. Tomorrow gave Newton and Pixie instructions how to fix TiMo, but Pixie didn’t want to listen. She tried to watch the special video from Dr. Tomorrow before fixing TiMo, and the video was all wrong! After hearing the Bible story about Jesus teaching people, Pixie learned we should always listen and obey what Jesus says. Pixie and Newton decided to listen to the instructions Dr. Tomorrow gave and obey them. Once they did – TiMo was fixed and Newton and Pixie could watch the special video from Dr. Tomorrow! Children learned “Jesus Teaches Me!” from our time at Dr. Tomorrow’s Robot Repair Shop.

Tool of the Day 

Speedy Sam helps deliver robot parts with speed to those in need, but with each delivery, customers receive a special tool – the Tool of the Day! This weekend’s Tool of the Day was pliers. Customers weren’t the only ones who received pliers with their delivery, but each Quest child received their own pair of pliers, too! Each weekend, children will collect a different Tool of the Day to help them remember what we learn in Quest.

Memory Verse 

Keep working with your preschooler to learn our memory verse for this series. Children who can recite this verse on the weekend of MAY 31/JUNE 1 will receive a special robot prize!
