Game Activity: I Can Help!
WHAT YOU DO:
-Say, “This is a special week — it’s LOVE Week! LOVE Week is when we show people how much we love them by serving and helping others. Let’s play a game and think of some ways we can help others during LOVE Week!”
-Read each prompt below and encourage your toddler to respond.
- This week, we might get to help others by cleaning up trash! If you can help others by cleaning up trash where you see it, wave your arms in the air!
- During LOVE Week, we might get to help comfort those who are sick by making them cards! Clap your hands if you can help others by making them cards!
- We might help others this week by cleaning at a school! Jump up and down if you can help others clean!
- Another way we can serve this week is by sorting clothes that will be donated to families in need. Give me two thumbs-up if you can help sort clothes to be donated!
-After the activity, say, “Great job singing! Who can trust God?” Encourage your toddler to say, “I can trust God!”
