BIBLE STORY: Jesus is Born I Luke 2:1-7

During the worship experience this weekend, we played a fun game to help us remember that God gave us Jesus. Grab a gift (e.g., gift box, gift bag, your child’s favorite toy, etc.) and play this game with your toddler this week!

Say, “God gave us the BEST gift ever when He gave us His Son, Jesus. I’m going to hide this gift and I want you to find it!”

Instruct your toddler to close their eyes while you place the gift somewhere in the room. Then instruct them to open their eyes and look for it. When your toddler finds the gift, encourage them to say, “God gave us Jesus!”

Repeat the activity, hiding the gift in a different location each time.

After the activity, say, “Great job! Who gave us Jesus?” Encourage your toddler to say, “God gave us Jesus!”
