BIBLE STORY: Baby Jesus is Born | Luke 2:1-7

This month we are learning, “God have us Jesus.” God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to earth as a baby! We will learn the story, “Baby Jesus Is Born,” in Luke 2:1-7. Mary and Joseph were traveling back to their hometown of Bethlehem. When they arrived there was nowhere to sleep so a kind man let them stay in his stable. That is where baby Jesus was born! God loves us so much that He gave us His Son in the form of a baby. God gave us Jesus!

We made a Bible story mat to help us remember God gave us Jesus. Place the Meal Time Bible Story Mat at the table where your toddler eats. Before each meal, point to the place mat and review the Bible story with your child:

Say, “That’s right. When Mary and Joseph got to Bethlehem, there was no place to sleep. A nice man let them stay in his stable and that is where Jesus was born! In a stable, God gave us Jesus!
