Merry Christmas eKidz families! We had a special time making a fun craft to celebrate Jesus’ birthday!

Use the headband your toddler created to review the lesson together. Call out each picture on the headband (e.g., Mary, Joseph, the stable, baby Jesus, the shepherd, etc.) and encourage your toddler to point to each one. Say, “God loves us so much He gave us His Son, Jesus, to be our friend forever. We celebrate Jesus’ birthday on Christmas! Who gave us Jesus?” Encourage your toddler to say, “God gave us Jesus!”

Encourage your toddler to wear the headband, and lead them in a parade around the room singing, “Happy Birthday” to Jesus. Continue the activity for as long as your toddler is interested.

After the activity, say, “Great job! Who gave us Jesus?” Encourage your toddler to say, “God gave us Jesus!”
